DNS tells visitors where to find your website and email. When that address changes, some networks keep using an earlier answer until their cached copy expires.
When you might notice it
A new registration, nameserver change or hosting move can involve DNS changes. A domain transfer by itself does not necessarily change DNS or interrupt your website.
What to expect
Many updates appear quickly. Allow 24–48 hours for nameserver changes, with timing depending on earlier cache settings and registry updates. This is a planning window, not a guaranteed deadline.
What to do
- Keep the previous hosting active while a move is being checked.
- Test your website and email, and tell us which one is affected.
- Send us your domain, the time of the change and any error message.
- Avoid repeatedly changing the settings while waiting; we can check whether the records are correct.
Ask us for help with your domain. Please leave passwords and private transfer codes out of ordinary messages.
