Recover hosting-panel access without confusing it with a client portal or email password.
What to do
- Use the DirectAdmin URL from your hosting welcome message and confirm you are using the hosting username.
- If the login page offers a password-recovery option, follow it using the account email. Availability depends on the server configuration.
- If no recovery option is available, sign in to your client portal and open a support ticket naming the hosting service.
- Complete any ownership verification we request before access is restored.
- Once recovered, save a unique password and test your hosting login. Update any application using the old credentials.
Check the result
Confirm you can access the correct hosting account and domain. A client portal password reset does not reset DirectAdmin.
If you need a hand
Use client support. If you cannot access the client portal either, use the website contact page and explain that both accounts need recovery. Never send passwords in the request.
