Softaculous handles installation so you can start building sooner.
Before you start
Do not install over an existing site. Keep a restorable backup before replacing an installation.
What to do
- Open Softaculous and choose WordPress > Install.
- Choose the domain. Use HTTPS once a valid certificate is ready.
- Leave In Directory empty for the main address, or enter a separate folder.
- Set a unique admin username, strong password and accessible email.
- Install and save the website and admin links from the completion screen.
Check the result
Open the site and sign in using its admin link.
If you need a hand
For WordPress Care, check whether we already installed it. Stop if the destination contains an existing website.
Open a support request. Include the affected domain and what you tried. Leave out passwords, full payment details, and private keys.
