Keep your installed software current without guessing which installation to update.
What to do
- Create and download a fresh backup of the app first.
- Open Softaculous and find the correct installation. Review the available update and its compatibility requirements.
- Use the upgrade option when available. For a major version change or heavily customised app, ask us to help plan it first.
- Confirm the upgrade and let it finish before opening another update process.
- Test the website, administrator login and important forms.
Check the result
Confirm the new version and check your key pages. Softaculous app updates do not automatically guarantee every theme, plugin or customisation is compatible.
