How to cancel hosting without cancelling your domain

Hosting and domain registration are separate. Stop only the service you intend to cancel.

What to do

Back up your website and mail, and finish any migration before requesting cancellation.
Open the correct hosting service and check its domain and billing term.
Use its cancellation action if available, or ask support to cancel that specific service.
Confirm whether cancellation is immediate or at the end of the paid term.
Keep the separate domain renewal arrangements you still need.

Keep the cancellation confirmation and check that it does not include your domain registration.

Cancellation can remove hosting files and mailboxes. Cancelling a payment subscription alone may not cancel a service or its invoices.

Open a support request. Include the affected domain and what you tried. Leave out passwords, full payment details, and private keys.
