How to check hosting storage usage

Website files, email and backups can all use your hosting storage.

What to do

  1. Open DirectAdmin account usage or Site Summary / Statistics / Logs.
  2. Check the allowance and current usage, including email and databases where shown.
  3. Look for old archives in File Manager and unwanted mailbox messages.
  4. Download needed material before removing anything.
  5. Recheck usage after the panel figures refresh.

Check the result

Usage figures may not update immediately after a cleanup.

If you need a hand

Do not delete unknown databases or system folders to make room. Send support the usage figure if you need help finding what takes space.

Open a support request. Include the affected domain and what you tried. Leave out passwords, full payment details, and private keys.
