Custom themes, thoughtful layouts, and websites you can make your own.
A little about me
Hey, I’m Bryce.
Developer. Dad.
Always curious.
I build websites, solve problems, and enjoy getting to know the people behind the projects. Build with Purpose is where my love for the web meets the things that matter most to me.
Bryce Wisekal
Founder of Build with Purpose
Based in Canada. Working with people around the world.
The experience I bring
Creative on the surface. Technical underneath.
I’ve been building for the web since 1998. More than 1,000 websites and clients in over 100 countries have given me plenty of opportunities to learn, adapt, and build things that work.
I’m a hands-on developer who enjoys both sides of a website: how it looks and how it runs. If something needs figuring out, that’s usually where my curiosity kicks in.
Development & integrations
PHP, databases, frontend and backend work that connect the pieces.
Hosting & website care
Getting online, moving providers, and keeping your website looked after.
Guidance & problem solving
A practical conversation about what you need and how to get there.
The people behind my purpose
Family is a big part of my story.
I’m a husband and a dad. When our daughter faced a serious illness, being there for my family changed the way I thought about work. In 2009, I turned my passion for websites into a business that let me stay close.
A few things I have built
Experience you can see.
Alongside client work, I co-developed KingSize and Self Titled with a partner: two photography WordPress themes built to showcase creative work.
KingSize
Fullscreen photography, galleries, and a focus on the images. A proud chapter of my WordPress work; now retired.
Self Titled
Another photography theme, with room for creatives to show their own personality.
Historical theme artwork. Features shown belong to these past products.
Away from the keyboard
Faith, family, and a little fresh air.
Life outside the browser includes ministry and our small homestead. I’m grateful to God for the people I get to share it with, and for the chance to do work I enjoy.
I like learning something new, making things work, and a good conversation. You don’t need to speak developer to have one with me.
A few things about me
Curious by nature. Grounded in what matters.
I enjoy figuring things out. Sometimes that’s a website, sometimes it’s something around our small homestead. Learning, building, and making things useful have always been part of who I am.
Family, faith, and ministry keep me grounded. They shape how I work, too: listen first, be honest, and treat people with care.
